imu recruitment 2011 : IMU ( Indian Maritime University ) released the employment notification for fill up the various jobs ( Professor , Associate Professor , Assistant Professor ) in teaching field . IMU Board held the notification on her official website www.imu.tn.nic.in
The University is seeking highly qualified dedicated and acadamically productive faculty members from indian nationals who have strong commitment in innovative teaching and high quality research in various subjects / disciplines for appointment on regular basis at Chennai and its campuses Mumbai , Kolkatta , Vishakapatnam , Cochin .


The birth of Indian Maritime University is a long cherished dream of the maritime community of India.The IMU has been established as a Central University by the Government of India under an Act of Parliament, namely, the Indian Maritime University Act 2008.

Associate Professor : Total:- 10 Posts, 
Pay Scale/Salary:- Rs.37,400 - 67,000/-, 
Additional Grade Pay - 9,000/-, 
Pay Grade:- PB-4, 
Max Age Limit:- 50 years

Assistant Professors : Total:- 25 Posts,
Pay Scale/Salary:- Rs.15,600 - 39100/-, 
Additional Grade Pay - 6,000/-, 
Pay Grade:- PB-3,
Max Age Limit:- 50 years
